Funny, I just came across that quote last night and was thinking about it.
It reminded me of the modern self-help movement. Take a stroll through the self-help section of any bookstore and you get the impression that people are desperately searching yet just can't seem to find what they're looking for. It smacks of restlessness.
Yes, many people are clearly seeking "something" better. They will try all kinds of answers - yoga, Zen, astrology, Gaia, you name it. None work, of course, but for some reason a lot of folks just won't consider Jesus.
